Married My Gorgeous Boss, Uncovered My Mafia Legacy
To fend off an internal family power struggle and shake off the harassment of Lucas, a spoiled rich brat, Ava impulsively marries Oliver — a subordinate she believes to be an ordinary commoner. The two agree to a fake marriage, but as they go through daily life and weather one provocation after another, the sham starts to feel real and they fall in love. Yet Oliver has no idea that his seemingly ordinary parents, Noah and Zoe, are actually the heads of the world's most powerful mafia family, the Davises. To protect their son, his parents hid their true identity and pretended to be poor — but as Lucas, along with Emily, Evelyn and others, keeps pushing their luck, they repeatedly stun everyone by pulling out priceless heirlooms, a top-tier helicopter, and limited-edition luxury cars, and even introduce Samuel, the richest man in the world, to help Ava's family survive a business crisis. As the villains secretly investigate and close in, Oliver accidentally stumbles upon his parents' true identity and learns the tragic story of his older brother's violent death; emotionally shattered, he runs away from home in anguish. Meanwhile, Lucas, unwilling to accept defeat, teams up with Ava's sister Emily to kidnap Ava onto a cruise ship, using a drone to hang her over the stormy, raging sea as leverage. Learning that the woman he loves is in mortal danger, Oliver quickly pulls himself together and, side by side with his parents, mobilizes the Davis family's top-tier global force: over a dozen armed helicopters swarm and surround the cruise ship. At the critical moment, Oliver flashes the mafia's supreme crest, rescues Ava as she plunges into the sea, and coldly brings the villains to justice. After surviving life-and-death trials, Oliver embraces his true identity, Ava holds tight to the man she loves, and the two hold a lavish wedding blessed by their relatives, friends and the entire mafia family — and live happily ever after.
